Hi there— I’m Alexandra Claasen and I’m a ceramics artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Growing up on the West Coast I have been fortunate to be surrounded by the ocean and beaches but also the mountains and forests and this helped foster my deep appreciation and love for nature.  When I’m not working on pottery or various other art projects I enjoy hiking, kayaking and exploring all the beautiful lakes that BC has to offer.

I love incorporating bright and fun colours into my pieces and enjoy bringing aspects of nature into my work.

From textured mugs to creatively painted plates, each piece I create is a reflection of the beauty, serenity, and joy found all around us.
